Our story
Woven Stems Studio began with a simple idea: to keep creating.
After retiring, Freda Zicafoose and her sister-in-law, Laurie Traxler, found themselves drawn back to the kind of work that had always brought them joy—making things by hand, slowly and with care. What started as a shared creative outlet soon became something more: a small studio rooted in craftsmanship, connection, and the belief that beautiful objects can make everyday life feel more intentional.

From woven textiles to embroidered details and handcrafted decor, their work reflects a deep appreciation for texture, seasonality, and the quiet beauty of the home.
